The Most Versatile Liquid Protein Beverage for Diabetes Patients
February 8th, 2011Who does not remember George and Jane Jetson? These story-bound animated characters had two youngsters, a puppy named “Astro” and the somewhat outdated android, “Rosie”. By all accounts, Jane was an excellent wife and mother, however we are led to think that she never worked over a sizzling stove cooking meals; she merely pressed a button and lunch was complete. Once in a while, we watched her young child, Elroy, glide in and eat an entire meal by ingesting a capsule no larger than an average vitamin, prior to zooming away once more.
Elroy’s out-of-this-world approach to eating breakfast appears to be the remedy for today’s fast-paced world. Perhaps it’s my enthusiasm for outer space, or perhaps it’s merely my enthusiasm for retro cartoons, but I have been keenly watching the shelves of the supermarket for any hint of Elroy’s innovative ‘miniaturized lunch’. If you’re like me, you utterly fancy eating a satisfying meal, however there are many more times than not that I might have a preference to “slug back” my meal inside a couple of seconds so that I am able to continue moving forward with my night…or my day. Some may very well suggest that I am stricken with ‘Elroy Envy’. The nearest products I have found are the liquid protein vials. They’re not quite as tiny as a vitamin capsule, and they are not a three course meal – maybe that is next — but, they are certainly a step in the correct direction.
