Good-to-know Yoga Mat FAQ
I was recently introduced to the holy practice of yoga. I even went to three classes. I was the only one who survived through the entire 2 hours class, my friends ditched me, but I loved it.
I even quit drinking and doing other stuff. I feel so good. I find it I don’t panic as much. I work better. Unlike my friends, I’m totally hyper about yoga. I can safely suggest anyone should try yoga.
Just don’t forget to buy yourself a new yoga mat – these are awesome. I’ve been going to the class and using the mat provided by the studio.
Stay away from the most commonly used Pilates/yoga/fitness/you-name-it general purpose plastic mat. Getting your own mat is good idea, trust me.
It’s not easy to pick out your own mat, though. There’s a big industry out there. I was unable to make a choice right away. I decided to see what other people were saying and found the Yoga Mats blog. That site just a had a very thorough and easy to follow advice. I found lots of misinformation, but these guys had it together.
My quest was over when I simply bought the most expensive mat on the market. I had no second thoughts about this mat, its advantages are so clear. It is cleaner, better looking and smelling, and provides much more support and stability than studio mats.
I suggest everyone doing yoga to get their own mat.
